Budget Lawn Service

Services

Everything we do —in plain English.

We’ll quote any of these on-site. The price you get is the price you pay — no surprise add-ons, no upsells.

  • Weekly Mowing

Mow, edge, trim, blow — the standard visit. Same crew, same day of the week, no surprises.

Most yards in Grand Prairie and Arlington fit a 30-to-45-minute weekly visit: mow the front and back, edge the walks and driveway, string-trim around the fence and beds, blow the hard surfaces clean. Sharp blades, mulch-cut by default. We change cut height with the season so the Bermuda or St. Augustine keeps moisture in July and never gets scalped in fall.

  • Edging & Trimming

Sharp, deliberate edges along driveways and beds. String-trim around fences, posts, and ornamentals.

Power-edged borders along walks and drives, hand-trim work around obstacles a 21-inch deck can’t reach, and a final pass with the blower so nothing carries over to the porch or street. Texas Bermuda creeps fast — we keep the line where it belongs.

  • Spring & Fall Cleanups

The big two — leaves, sticks, dead growth out; mulch, edges, and beds reset for the next season.

A full-property reset twice a year. Spring: cut back perennials, remove winter debris, edge beds, top up mulch. Fall: bag leaves before the first norther blows them around, blow out beds, cut back what wants cutting, get the lawn ready for dormancy. Quoted up front by lot size, not surprise-billed at the end.

Starts at $180 · per visit

  • Bed Maintenance & Mulch

Hand-pull beds, refresh mulch at the right depth, prune ornamentals when the calendar says so — not when we feel like it.

Hand-pulled weeds (no chemical drift onto your bermuda or your dog), seasonal pruning timed plant-by-plant, and a fresh hardwood or cedar mulch top-up to a clean 2-to-3-inch depth. We pull last year’s clumped mulch first if it’s matted down.

  • Hedge & Shrub Trimming

Boxwood, holly, ligustrum, crepe myrtles — shaped, thinned, and cleaned up before the next visit.

Hand-shaped on smaller hedges, power-trimmed on long runs, and we keep the inside thinned so the shrub stays healthy instead of just looking neat from the curb. Crepe myrtles get a real prune (not a "crepe murder") at the right time of year.

  • Seasonal Fertilization

Three or four feedings a year, timed to North Texas turf — not a generic spring-summer-fall calendar.

A simple, honest program: pre-emergent in late winter, balanced feed in spring, summer-stress feed in July, and a fall winterizer. Bermuda and St. Augustine each get the right blend at the right time. We tell you what we’re putting down and why.

Most weekly customers add cleanups, mulch, and the odd hardscape job — there’s usually a flat-rate way to handle that.
